Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation Founded in 1970 by a group of concerned parents of children with cancer, Candlelighters provides resources including support, advocacy and information.


Wish Granting

Make A Wish Grants wishes of children with life threatening illnesses to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Grant-a-Wish Educational, recreational and supportive services to children who are battling life-threatening illnesses. In addition to Wish Granting, they also offer eight additional programs, including support group sponsorship and hospital housing, that provide support to critically ill children and their families throughout the treatment process.

Starlight Children's Foundation Starlight Children's Foundation's focus is to lift the spirits of seriously ill kids and their families at times of great stress and hardship. Services are provided for seriously, chronically and terminally ill children, aged 4 through 18 years.


Support and Assistance

Andrew's Helpful Hands Andrew's Helpful Hands Foundation helps families going through Bone Marrow Transplant, allowing parents to focus on their child during recovery. The process of going through a Bone Marrow Transplant has many facades. If a donor is needed, they will help you organize a Bone Marrow Drive. If finances are needed, they will help you with fundraisers, benefits, raffles, etc.

Childhood Cancer Lifeline of New Hampshire Support for families in New Hampshire with assistance including: emotional support, limited financial assistance, and additional information.

Take a Swing at Cancer TASC is a non-profit corporation established in memory of cancer patients, raising funds to fight cancer.

Why Me A non-profit organization located in Worcester, Massachusetts for the support of families of children with cancer.

Housing Support while Receiving Treatments

The Neely House Founded by former Boston Bruin Cam Neely and his brother, The Neely House is a beautifully renovated wing at New England Medical Center with sixteen self-contained apartments. Anyone receiving cancer treatment in the Boston area is eligible to stay at The Neely House for a nominal charge.

Camps and Retreats

Hole in the Wall Gang Camp Founded by Paul Newman, Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a "Wild West" hideout in northeastern Connecticut, where children with cancer or other serious blood diseases do not have to sit on the sidelines.

Camp Sunshine Located in Casco, Maine, Camp Sunshine’s mission is to provide a respite for children with life threatening illnesses and their families who are facing the physical, emotional, and financial toll of severe illness with support and resources.

Children's Camping Oncology Association International International assembly of camping experiances for children with cancer. Includes a directory to help locate a camp near you.

Camp Quality New Jersey Camp Quality is a non-profit organization that provides free camping experiences and year-round support programs for children with cancer, and their families.

Dream Day on Cape Cod Bringing a ray of sunshine into lives of children with life threatening illnesses, Dream Day offers summer camp and various events throughout the year.


Airline Assistance

Corporate Angel Network Provides free air transportation to cancer patients traveling to and from recognized treatment centers in the U.S. without regard to their financial resources.

The Air Care Alliance A nationwide league of humanitarian flying organizations dedicated to community service. The site will introduce you to all the groups listed whose volunteers perform public benefit flying for health care, patient transport, and other missions of public service.

Mercy Medical Airlift An organization dedicated to serving people in situations of compelling human need through the provision of charitable air transportation.
