What We Do
Angel's Hope focuses on four key areas -- Moments of Hope, Gifts of Hope, Hope for the Future and, our newest project, Angel's Box of Hope.
Moments of hope
Angel's immediate goal was to plan and host an annual event for all children in Alabama fighting cancer. Ultimately, her dream was to provide a special event for every child diagnosed. This could be an end-of-chemo party, birthday party, Sweet 16, homecoming dance, prom, etc. She wanted to make sure that kids fighting cancer were still able to have those special memories that many others take for granted.
Gifts of hope
Angel's Hope collects food, toiletry items and toys/gift cards throughout the year. These items are delivered to the hematology/oncology unit at Children's of Alabama. Collection dates and times will be announced throughout the year.
Hope for the future
The Live Big, Love Hard Angel Eaton Memorial Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded to a student who exhibits the same characteristics that Angel possessed -- a passion for living and a desire to help others. The scholarship is awarded to a senior from her alma mater, Hillcrest High School.
Angel's Box of Hope
Angel's dream was to bring hope and smiles to kids fighting cancer. In an effort to further her dream, we launched Angel's Box of Hope. Each box will be filled with goodies -- and a little bit of "hope" from Angel. Children in Alabama who are currently undergoing treatment are eligible for the program.
