Hope & Healing Retreat
There is something powerful about being in a room where you don't have to explain your grief.
The Hope & Healing Retreat brings together mothers who have lost a child to cancer for a weekend centered on connection, remembrance, rest and healing. There is no expectation to “move on” or leave grief behind. Instead, mothers are given space to honor their children while finding strength in a community that truly understands.
No mother should have to learn how to live without her child alone.
Angel's Hope was born from loss, but it continues because of love — the love we carry for our children and the love we can extend to families walking this road behind us.
WHY WE'RE HERE
Angel's life continues to create hope.
Angel’s Hope was created in memory of Angel, a young woman who loved deeply, lived fully and had a way of making people feel like they mattered. She never met a stranger, and even through three years of treatment for Ewing sarcoma, cancer was never the most important thing about who she was.
Angel died at 18, but the love she gave and the life she lived continue to shape everything we do. What began as a way to honor her has grown into a commitment to walk alongside mothers and families facing the unimaginable loss of a child.
Through connection, remembrance and compassionate support, Angel’s Hope carries her legacy forward by creating spaces where grief is understood, children are remembered and families are reminded they do not have to walk this road alone.
