The 2024 retreat will be held January 11-15, 2024, in Gulf Shores, Alabama. We have space for 10 bereaved moms.
Cost for the retreat is covered by Angel’s Hope through donations and sponsorships. Moms will need to cover the cost of travel. When your application is accepted, you will be asked to pay a $100 deposit. This deposit is fully returned to you upon arrival at the retreat.
Retreat guests will stay in either a private, double or shared room. Your stay includes all meals and snacks during the retreat, as well as all activities offered as part of the retreat.
The application window for the 2024 retreat will close November 30, 2023. When your application has been accepted, you will be notified and asked to pay your $100 deposit. If we have more applications than spaces available, we will start a wait list.
Retreat Eligibility and Guidelines
The Hope & Healing Retreat is for bereaved moms who have lost a child to cancer (21 years and younger). Priority is given to moms who reside in Alabama.
Space is limited and contingent on availability. Moms will be placed on our wait list if the retreat is full.
Your completed application indicates your acceptance to fully participate in our planned activities.
Moms will be notified once your application is accepted, but your space will not be held until you pay the $100 deposit (which will be returned to you as soon as you arrive at the retreat).
